Milla Kahlos is a Finnish born artist based in Tokyo, Japan. She holds a Bachelor's honours degree in art and illustration, which she obtained online from the University of Hertfordshire in Great Britain. Most of her works are black and white, and made only by using black pens and markers on white watercolour paper. The drawings usually involve wolves and dogs, although other animals are occasionally shown in her work too. Her artworks are usually visual representations of the artist’s own views, thoughts, and emotions towards personal or wider social issues. Many of them include small hidden details, as well different symbolic elements. Although most of her works include cute canines, they usually have a darker or disturbing story behind them, and can include violent and macabre elements.
